Little Boy Bedroom

First let’s take a little walk down memory lane…. back in the summer of 2022, we decided that our house build wasn’t going to start soon enough to continue living in the camper we bought. Our plans to live in it while we built were just not feasible long term so we decided to buy a fixer upper house in town to flip and eventually sell once the house we built was finished. This house was straight out of the 70’s, lots of wood paneling, lovely carpet and wall paper on just about every single wall possible. Let’s look at what this room looked like originally…..

I FINALLY got around to working on our little boys room. We didn’t have a nursery when he was born, it was a guest room with his stuff shoved inside too for a LONG time. Zach finished the basement and the guest room moved downstairs. SO after a year of it being really plain, I finally decided it was time to actually make it his room. I wanted to make sure it was something that could grow with him since he is already 2 and that would be neutral enough when we go to sell the house since this house is a temporary plan.

  1. Wallpaper

  2. Rug

  3. Recliner- we got ours back in 2020 but if I had to buy one today, I would buy THIS one.

  4. Crib- ours came from Facebook marketplace when we were in a hurry due to a foster care situation. But if I had to buy one now, I would probably just get something like THIS. I also have a wood twin bed frame I got off Facebook marketplace to switch when he is ready! (Crib sheet we currently have. He picked THESE sheets out for his big boy bed and I picked out this duvet cover.)

Anyways, that’s all for this room for now! I will update when we move him to a big boy bed because I scored the cutest bed frame for $20!
