Stocking Ideas

Just a quick note: Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means if you decide to make a purchase, I may earn a small commission (thank you for supporting our family’s homestead!). We only share products we genuinely use and believe in. Full disclosure HERE.

I know, it’s Thanksgiving week BUT I try to collect items for stockings over time so that it doesn’t feel so expensive and that I have time to get things that are worth it. Personally, I try to avoid getting “Christmas” themed items, I aim for things that will still be used in the middle of the summer! So let’s get right to it shall we, stocking ideas:

For kids:

  • A snack (a candy bar, fruit snacks, favorite granola bar etc)

  • Small game or puzzle (barrel of monkeys, color sorting animals, Uno, Spot It etc)

  • Sticker books (like THIS or THIS)

  • Yoto cards (if you don’t have a Yoto player, I HIGHLY recommend. It is probably the single most used “toy” in our house)

  • Socks (I mean, lets be honest here, who’s kids DON’T need new socks?)

  • A small toy (a new Barbie, new racecar etc)

  • Hair supplies (hair bows, new brush, new comb, new gel etc)

  • New toothbrush/toothpaste

  • New crayons/markers (we LOVE these markers, or THESE are great for littles)

For Adult (we don’t really do a lot in adult stockings so I don’t have too many ideas sorry!):'

  • Favorite snack

  • New journal

  • New pens

  • Socks

  • Favorite drink

  • Hat/gloves

Hope these ideas help but remember, it is okay to keep things VERY simple! I hope you find joy this holiday season!
